Ikr a lot of the meta game has been lost over the past several months, even since before we had corp battles and player run tournaments we had more entertaining smack talk between corps, more this and that is OP, and more CCP hate then this. These forums kept me and many others in the game, at one time, playing and now that the general discussion is actually dust related (aside from that girlfriend thread that was funny till I actually read the OP) I have played the actual game less. At one point these forums were the foundation for my reason to play the game and now I look at it like it's a ginger step child that I just want to beat relentlessly. The community has become disappointing and sportsmanship has plagued this domain like a cancer. Bring back the hate! Cuss out those snipers! Accuse those players you couldn't kill of hacking! Demand CCP nerf the other weapon and buff yours!

You... absolute.. idiot. Do you honestly believe that CCP has based there changes primarily on what we say? You think that CCP is full of mindless reactionary monkeys that hear us say "Oh golly this is OP" and they react accordingly? There have been problems with a resilience that has lasted over a year that CCP hasn't been able to fix and you think that's because of the community? I usually hate when people use the EVE universe as a direct example for dust but one thing they have that I have always appreciated was a pvp experience with the most depth I have ever seen. The espionage, conspiracy, malice, propaganda, and impact that a simple choice can make is, in my opinion, the only thing this game has that can separate it from others of it's kind (of course we haven't reached that yet). To achieve that we need a medium to breed much of the meta game that conveys that aspect. Yes these forums are meant to be for "feedback" but in order for this particular game to survive, while it is still simply a fetus, it requires a medium such as these forums to be more then what you claim they should be. Like I said the gameplay alone is not what has kept me playing so the same must be true for many other. You should stop thinking so narrowly and keep an open mind.
